Time: A day late
Location: Sarinah’s Room
Sorry about the lateness of this post, I tried to get online the night before but the Internet was down all night (I tried at 1am, 4am and 10am).
So for this day we went shopping with Sarinah’s cousin Razim and his girlfriend Sharmayn, unfortunately because we were the only ones with access to a car, Sarinah had to drive for her first time on Malaysian roads, we were pretty late leaving but I can’t remember why, I think we just slept in though which is pretty normal for us.
So Sarinah got her first taste of driving on Malaysian roads (mind you, she was well aware of how dangerous it is) which as anyone who has been to Malaysia can tell you, it’s pretty terrifying. (The stats don’t lie). Fortunately Razim drove us to the actual mall which was called Pavilion, it was very high-end in comparison to where I had been before (and even then it was much better than what we get in the UK). We went to get some food first since Sarinah and I had barely eaten at that point, afterwards we head up to the cinema and grabbed tickets to see Toy Story 3 which were about RM9 each (£2-3ish) and watched the movie which was really good, I think I preferred the first two but this movie was definitely a good watch so when it comes out in the UK GO SEE IT!
After this we had to head back because Sarinah’s Dad had got home from his business trip that day and had a party to attend for his football club which we were joining him for. We dropped Razim and Sharmayn at The Curve and then parked up so Sarinah’s Dad could pick us up since they were already on their way. The party was very nice but I was so jetlagged that I ended up falling asleep but not before an entertaining scene where several children (about 7-10 years old) were playing darts with no supervision, the amount of oh shi- moments was pretty large. We finally headed home and fell to sleep pretty quickly.
No Pictures Yet!
Sarinah cant drive…
Poor sarinah I would have just settled to walk there or something -.-
I fought they weren’t advanced enough in Malaysia to have traffic, or cars, or roads.
